Terms of Service

Last updated: September 13, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Rowdy Rounds (the "Service"), a free browser-based drinking-game companion app. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

You must be of legal drinking age in your country or state to use Rowdy Rounds. The Service is designed around alcohol-based drinking games and is not intended for anyone under that age.

1. What Rowdy Rounds is

Rowdy Rounds deals out card-based house rules for a game you're watching or playing, and runs the scorekeeping/turn logic for a handful of party games. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and nothing you type into it (player names, scores, team names) is tied to an identity - see the Privacy Notice for exactly what is and isn't sent anywhere.

2. Play responsibly

Rowdy Rounds is a game aid, not an instruction to drink more than you want to or should. You're responsible for your own choices and your own safety, and for knowing your own limits. A few things worth saying plainly:

  • Never drink and drive, and don't let anyone else do so either.
  • You can always substitute water, a non-alcoholic drink, or just skip a rule - nothing in the app requires you to actually drink anything.
  • Alcohol poisoning is a real medical emergency. If someone has stopped responding normally, is vomiting repeatedly, has slow or irregular breathing, or can't be woken up, call emergency services.
  • If you or someone you're with has a problem with alcohol, please reach out for help rather than playing through it.

3. No warranty

Rowdy Rounds is provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranties of any kind, express or implied - including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Card content (house rules, prompts, forbidden words, etc.) is provided for entertainment and may be inaccurate, offensive to some, or just not your taste; you're free to skip anything you don't like.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Rowdy Rounds is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage - direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential - arising from your use of the Service or from decisions you make while playing, including decisions about drinking. You use the Service, and the games it describes, entirely at your own risk.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't use Rowdy Rounds to do anything unlawful, to attack or overload the Service, or to scrape or republish its content at scale without permission. Reasonable personal use - including installing it as a PWA and using it offline - is exactly what it's built for.

6. Changes

These Terms may change as the Service changes. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Rowdy Rounds after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

7. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected].
